EUROVISION STOLE MY LIFE
Welcome to Eurovision Stole My Life, my very first Eurovision Blog.
I have been a fan of Eurovision for as long as I can remember and I watched my first full contest in 1992.
I became a fan by accident, my friends and I had rented the Kathy Bates film 'Misery' (we were very much underage) and after the hobbling scene, we switched off the film and immediately looked for some light entertainment and boy did we find it. From Malta's Mary Spiteri's 'Little Child' followed by the UK's Michael Ball belting out 'One Step Out Of Time' and finishing with Ireland's Linda Martin, who won with 'Why Me?' a Eurovision fan was born!
Born and raised in the UK, I have experienced the highs and a lot of lows following the UK. After the success of each decade up to the 1990's, I don't think anyone could've predicted what was to follow.
From Sonia to Gina G, Katrina to Joe & Jake I have seen them all at many a Pride event and i hope to see many more...
